When will India grow a spine! Always we were found wanting when it comes to dealing with Foreign Policy. Look at our neighbours, though small and miniscule, compared to this, they are the major irritants. And do we have friends. NO!!! Every one takes us for granted. Time India stands up for its right. NO UNSC seat. Why is it we are always meek?

It would be better to forego $600 million. there is no point putting good money after bad money. Its better to lease a air craft carrier from US/UK/France and then go ahead and build one. Some people might argue that it may jeopardize our relationship with Russia on defence deals. But I do not think russia will respect us if we bow down to all their whims every time either. So lets show some spine.
